Theory of the four point dynamic bending test : part II : influences of: 1. overhanging beam ends& 2. extra moving masses

Deals with the influences of the extra moving masses and the overhanging beam ends on the measured deflections in the dynamic four point bending test. The analytical solution is deduced for both cases. In the case of overhanging beam-ends the exact analytical solution can be obtained directly. However, if extra moving masses (point loads) are involved the numerical value for the analytical solution has to be obtained by an iteration procedure.
