Study of the effects of discharges of acid waste from titanium dioxide production on the marine environment : interim report on the available data from 1980, 1981 and 1982
In March 1980 a new area off the Dutch coast was taken into use for the dumping of acid waste from titanium dioxide production. In February 1980 a study began into the effects of these discharges on the marine environment. The study comprises chemical monitoring of the compartments water, sea bed and organisms and biological monitoring of the benthos. This report summarizes the data available for 1980, 1981 and 1982.
