In-situ determination of optical properties of seawater and particle characteristics in the Corfu Sea : report on the first joint campaign of the Mito project
The Corfu cruise was organized as part of the preparations of the MITO project (= Microphyte Toxins), aiming at characterization, identification and quantification of algal blooms with particular emphasis to toxin producing species. During the Corfu cruise the following techniques were investigated: reflectometry, submergible absorption meter, flow cytometry.
