Benchmark of airports charges 1996 : Application of the Airport Charges Model

Some years ago the airport charges model was developed for the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to calculate airport charges to airlines for each turnaround. This report presents the results of the calculations for July 1996, including calculations of night-time airport charges, charges for freight flights, charges at regional airports and charges at airports outside Europe. Particular attention has been given to the competitive position of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
