Impacts of dynamic travel information : the Wegwijs case study : model application : final report

This report documents the results of a study into the potential impacts of dynamic travel information. It involved the development and application of a detailed traffic simulation model. Forecasts were made of the circulatory impacts of various levels of route guidance, the prevision of route guidance to certain roadway types, guidance of a percentage of guided travelers to remote parking facilities, and finally the consideration of impacts during normal peak hour travel conditions and during traffic incidents. The model was applied using Amsterdam as a test site.
