Future logistics structures : the development of integrated supply chain management across six industry sectors : synthesis report
Synthesis of a more comprehensive study of the development of structures and practices of integrated supply chain management across Dutch and Western European firms in the following six major industry sectors: automotive, business equipment, retailing, food and agricultural products, fast moving consumer goods, chemicals processing. It is a synthesis of case-studies based on in-depth-interviews with executives of 22 Dutch and Western European companies. Information at individual firm level about the status and future development of logistics structures in supply, manufacturing and distribution channels of shippers relevant to the Netherlands are assembled and assessed.
