Results of Agrisar-86 for the Flevopolder test area : final report

The results are described of the Dutch contribution to the European Agrisar 1986 campaign. Subject of this campaign was radar remote sensing of agricultural areas. The main research were: analysis of the potential of multitemporal SAR images taken from the same test sites during the crop growing period for crop identification and monitoring of growth; cross-calibration of SAR data taken from the same test sites at different measurement times. The first part of the report focusses on multitemporal crop classification and the calibration of VARAN-S SAR images. The other part deals with the collection of radar data and ground truth.
