Perfluoroalkylated substances : aquatic environmental assessment

Objectives of the study are: to provide an analysis of the potential issues in the aquatic environment; a description of the loads, occurrence, behaviour and effects and an analysis of the issues which indicate how the presence of perfluoroalkylated substances may disturb the functioning of the different aquatic systems by effects on sensitive organisms. An overview is also given of the national and international policies with regard to these substances.
