The development of Automated Vehicle Guidance Systems : a literature survey

Automated Vehicle Guidance (AVG) systems are defined as ssytems in which the driving tasks of a driver are taken over partly or entirely by an automated system. This report aims to identify available information with respect to the development of AVG systems. The main compenents are : AVG seeds, AVG system evolution and the environment of the transportation systems.
