Evaluating truck speeds on vertical alignments

Describes a computer program, that calculates velocities that a vehicle is able to reach at any vertical alignment. In the Dutch road design practice this program is particularly useful in evaluating the deceleration of trucks on gradients adjacent to highway tunnels underneath major waterways and determine the speed of truck acceleration on freeway entries (especially in the case of ramp-metering).
