Results of the oceanographical measurements in the Channel- and Straits of Dover Area between the 27th and the 30th of April 1987
In this study the results of the measurements carried out under the project Channel-measurements in November 1986 in the Straits of Dover, are compared with the data of similar measurements carried out in the same area (as well as the western part of the Channel area) in April 1987. The tidal variations of the nutrient contents in surface-watersamples are described, and the nutrient contents along three (vertical)cross-sections are compared. Eventually the computerized visualisations of the dispersion of nutrients in the North Sea are presented, based on a transport model under present use in the Netherlands.
