Restoration of gradual natural transition zones in the Dutch Wadden Sea

This brochure records the progress made in the Dutch Wadden Sea since the governmental conference in Stade of 1997, in the fields of restoration of salt marshes and estuarine transition zones. Restoration projects will be described and, so far as possible, the effectiveness of the measures taken will be indicated. In conclusion studies for the future are mentioned.
