Macrobenthic fauna monitoring in the Dutch sector of the North Sea, MWTL 2012 : year report MWTL North Sea - 2012

Rijkswaterstaat Water, Verkeer en Leefomgeving organises a series of national monitoring programmes within the framework of MWTL (Monitoring Waterstaatkundige Toestand des Lands Milieumeetnet rijkswateren). One of these programs is the annual monitoring of macrobenthos in the North Sea, Wadden Sea and Delta Estuary. A consortium of the companies Grontmij (team Ecology) and Ecosub was involved in the execution of the monitoring in 2012.
This report presents the results of the macrobenthos survey on the Dutch continental shelf (DCS), carried out in 2012. It should be used next to the “Digitale basisrapportage” (Digital report 2012), which comprises the analyses behind this report.
