An inventory of wader counts in northwest Europe's intertidal areas

An inventory was made of the available counts of coastal waders in northwest Europe. It includes bird counts and some additional ecological parameters from Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, northern France and the UK. The collected data are stored in an electronic database. This additional report lists the study areas, the counting methods and the literature references, and briefly discusses the relevance of the various counting methods to the research objectives of the RIKZ.
