Alternative dumping sites in the Ems-Dollard estuary : model study

Describes a model to simulate the dispersion and fate of the dumped sediments and to evaluate the impact of alternative dumping sites in the Ems-Dollard estuary. The study addresses the following issues: the dispersion of the dumped sediment; the extent to which the turbidity is influenced by dumping at an alternative location and to what extent the natural system is influenced by dumping at alternative locations.
