Rivers : flume experiments on dunes under steady flow conditions (uniform sand, Dm=0.77 mm) : description of bed forms
Within the framework of TOW-Rivers a straight flume was built in 1972 at the De Voorst branch of the Delft Hydraulics Laboratory. The aim of the research in the sand flume is to increase the understanding of sediment transport phenomena and the hydraulic roughness of alluvial streams by carrying out a number of selective flume tests. The data presented so far has been restricted to the hydraulic and morphological parameters. The bed form data are subject of the present report.
