Development of silt measuring methods : empirical 2-parameter model for acoustic attenuation spectra progress report
For a suspension of irregularly shaped particles, there is no physical model which gives a quantitatively good description of the acoustic attenuation spectrum. However, a good mathematical description is required for the purpose of particle size analysis. In the present report a test of an empirical mathematical model is presented.
