The forces exerted by ships on mooring constructions : 18th International Navigational Congress Rome September 1953 : Marine Navigation : Item 2

Gives an insight into the origin of the forces which ships exert on mooring constructions, the manner in which they can be calculated and the means which can be applied to reduce them. It is shown that it is desirable to determine the elasticity of various types of ships by means of calculations and tests.
