Essay on the computerdesign of the storm surge barrier in the Eastern Scheldt
Today installations often will be kept under control by means of computer systems. This is particularly so in the case of the storm surge barrier in the Eastern Scheldt. In this project uncommon demans of reliability and barrier management were fundamental for the choice of a large number of advanced systems.
