Integral water management at regional level : an environmental study of the Gooi and the Vechtstreek
The study described examines the connection between interventions in water management, which are the deliberate or inadvertent consequences od social developments, and the ensuing effects on natural features. The Gooi and the Vechtstreek were chosen as the area to be studied. The Gooi is an infiltration area which is important both for the drinking water supply and for nature in the adjacent lowland.
