NOMADS : NOrth sea Model Advection-Dispersion Study#the Dutch contribution to the simulations

The European Community has commissioned a concerted action for the comparison of advection-dispersion models for the Northwest European Shelf presently available, and being used at various institutes within the European Union. This concerted action is the North Sea Model Advection Dispersion Study (NOMADS). This report contains a compilation of the contributions to NOMADS. First an introduction to the NOMADS project is given. Then the realistic simulations are defined: area, periods, intercomparison products, etc, followed by the description of the RIKZ - Delft Hydraulics model configurations. Next are the interpretations of the 2D and 3D results, followed by a comparison of these results.
