Road traffic behaviour and road safety

This document discusses the importance of knowledge about road traffic behaviour in relation to road safety. Chapter 3 looks into the relationships maintained by the AVV "Road Traffic Behaviour and Road Safety Knowledge Centre" with policy-making and implementation authorities on the one hand and research centres on the other. Chapter 4 concerns the themes with which the knowledge centre is and will be engaged. Chapter 5 examines the working method of the knowledge centre. A brief summary of the current research is given in Chapter 6.
