Publicity report on the "Anna Broere" May 27, 1988
A description is given of the accident with the Dutch chemical carrier "Anna Broere" carrying a cargo of bulk chemicals (acrylonitrile and dodecylbenzene) which collided with the Swedish motortanker "Atlantic Compass" on May 27th, 1988. The salvage actions taken are described and an evaluation is made of the dangers released from the cargo.
