Background concentrations of natural compounds in rivers, sea water, atmosphere and mussels
During the workshop experts presented the range in the background concentration of various natural compounds (nutrients, metals, radionuclides, organic compounds), obtained by processing data available in the literature. These ranges can be used to set standards and to develop a longterm strategy to reduce emissions in an effort to achieve a cleaner North Sea.
