Feasibility of the fluidization method to trench and cover the gaspipeline Zuidwal-Harlingen

At the request of Petroland b.v. a study was carried out by the Delft Soil Mechanics Laboratory and the Delft Hydraulics Laboratory to define the feasibility of the fluidization method to trench and cover the gaspipeline from the Zuidwal field to Harlingen. The analysis was based on the capabilities of the fluidization principle and the fluidization trenching method in practice in relation to the soil conditions present along the pipeline route.
