Promotion of intermodal transport : policy paper

Indicates where the opportunities for intermodal transport lie in the market and what measures to promote intermodal transport will be taken by the Ministry of Transport in order to achieve the policy objectives set in the second Transport Structure Plan (SVV). Furthermore it invisages development of the terminal network in accordance with the Government's position on the recommendations of the Kroes Committee for an intermodal network. It describes the main criteria by which the projects will be assessed and indicates the financial effects of the policy of promoting intermodal transport
