Wadden Sea research by the Public Works Department of the Netherlands : summary of planned research 1987-1991

This memorandum outlines the multi year research programme of the Public Works Department for the Wadden Sea. It is hoped that by presenting the plan in this way an active exchange of ideas will be stimulated and that a greater degree of coordination with other interested parties will be promoted. The plan as presented does not cover all he research activities being carried out in the Dutch Wadden Sea. Additional, smaller-scale studies are conducted in response to day-to-day management needs. Details of these investigations have not been included in this memorandum.
