Pilot videodetection Eindhoven : incident management evaluation

Describes a pilot on the ring road of Eindhoven to determine what the effect is of so-called digital video cameras on the follow-up of incidents, and if the follow-up can be accelerated by means of incident detection cameras. Chapter 2 gives a description of the functioning of video detection and the systems used in the pilot. Chapter 3 describes the research plan and the method of evaluation. Chapter 4 contains a survey of the incidents that occured in the measuring period and that were selected for analysis. Then the gain in time of the systems is discussed in chapters 5 and 6. After this the results of the IM-model (= Incident Management) are explained in chapter 7. Chapter 8 describes the users experiences.
