Morphology of pits, channels and trenches : Part I: literature review and suggested study approach

Presents an overview of study on the effects of mining of sand on the morphological and ecological coastal system in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. Based on the review results, conclusions are drawn and recommendations for further studies are given.
