A mud balance for the Belgium-Dutch coastal waters between 1969 and 1986
Gives a survey of the mud balance for the Belgian Dutch coastal waters between 1969 and 1986. It is shown that only locally variations in the mud budget occurred, as a result of large scale human interference and it is illustrated that fluctuations in the annual frequency and duration of storms may change the annual flux of mud by a factor of 2.
