Analysis and evaluation of HOV facilities : travel times and traffic assignment : final report

Final report of the project "Analyse gebruik gereserveerde stroken HWN met behulp van MUC toedelingstechniek". This paper describes research into multiclass user assignments undertaken by Hague Consulting Group for the Rijkswaterstaat Dienst Verkeerskunde (DVK), VXM Division. The research was conducted to determine the suitability of two existing multiclass user assignment procedures for the evaluation of High Occupancy Vehicles (HOV) facilities. An experimental approach was designed whereby data from Amsterdam were applied. Results from these tests and conclusions and recommendations are reported.
