Comparative assessment studies of pilot projects in the field of dynamic traffic control systems : a document prepared for the DRIVE-2 Information Day on 19th of June 1991

Chapter 2 presents Rijkswaterstaat, its role and functions and corporate expertise. In chapter 3 an overview is presented of dynamic traffic management and control in The Netherlands. Chapter 4 describes a selection of pilot schemes which are being proposed by Rijkswaterstaat for incorporation in the detailed and comparative assessment studies of the most advanced dynamic traffic management and control systems, to be undertaken within the framework of DRIVE. In chapter 5 the position and role of Rijkswaterstaat in the proposed assessment studies is discussed.
