Evaluation of memorial tunnel CFD simulations

The Ministry of Transport and Public Works of the Netherlands has asked four parties to carry out simulations based on the CFD codes they normally use. The Centre d'Etudes des Tunnels (CETU) in France has been consulted for assessing the results of CFD simulations corresponding to the Memorial Tunnel Fire Ventilation Test Program in the case of longitudinal ventilation. There are two fire tests chosen by the Ministry, the fire tests 615B and 621A, both have been done with a heat release rate of 100 MW.
