Statistical analyses skid resistance SWF versus RAW

RWS replaces the method for measuring skid resistance of the highway network by\r\nmeans of the RAW method by the Side Way Force method (SWF). Both methods\r\nare based on to some extend different physical principles and they produce different\r\nmeasurement values. To make the transition between the two methods it is necessary to know the relation between the outputs of both methods under comparable conditions.\r\nThis report describes the results of a statistical analyses which has been performed on four data sets towards conversion formulae between both methods.
