Moisture determinations in and under vegetation canopies : part II: Results after parameterization of the Cloud model
Using the model parameters derived from the data set of the ROVE- team in Part I, the CLOUD model was parameterized. Calculations can now be made to determine the influence of soil moisture content and biomass on the radar backscatter as a function of frequency. It is now possible to become more explicit on the conclusions drawn in Part I that soil moisture and biomass determinations ask for different frequencies and incidence angles.
