Generic hindcasting method Waddensea using SWAN

A generic method is described to set-up a hindcast in the Waddensea using the SWAN wave model. The method describes procedures to select the type op hindcast and for the preparation of boundary conditions driving the wave model. Thereafter, the settings of the SWAN model are discussed. This includes the choice of the computational grids, physical settings and numerical settings.
