Climate change : recent findings : literature study

Up-to-date information about predictions of global climate changes which are based on models. The results of the following models were compared: Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 1990 and 1992 and "technical report 6 (TR6) on sea level rise, coastal defence after 1990". There is also a report on climate changes in Europe which is commented by prof. Schuurmans and prof. Oerlemans. Data concerning the greenhouse effect, sea level rise, wind climate, precipitation, temperature change and extreme water levels is taken into consideration. The models are not quite reliable, so an assessment of the uncertainties associated with the predictions concerning the next century is given.
