Bottom sediment quality in the mouth of the former Haringvliet estuary

Describes the results of an extended field study on the chemical sediment quality in the mouth of the Haringvliet estuary, horizontally as well as vertically. Cores were dated and the surface sediment characteristics were mapped in situ. These data are compared with historical data of the sediment quality.
