Speed survey carried out by DVK

In this report the results are presented from a survey among DVK employers. A sample of DVK employers were asked to record all trips to and from Rijkswaterstaat offices in Koningskade during two weeks ending March 24. Tha data recorded was: odometer reading at start and end of trip, start time and end tome, plus indicators for day, direction and respondent. The main points of interest were as follows: How much variation is there in departure times within indivuduals and between individuals?; How much variation is there in speed/travel time, and how does this vary by time of travel?; What conclusions can be drawn in terms of the variation in speed?
