Floodplain forest : willows and poplars along rivers
Since 1990 research has been carries out by RIZA into interaction between floodplain forest, river dynamics and bank morphology. This report presents the outcome of that research, tries to answer the questions that are being asked today on floodplain forest and tries to put the floodplain forest to the fore in the discussion on the type of river management to be implemented.
