Modelling of sand transport in DELFT3D

RIKZ of Rijkswaterstaat and Delft Hydraulics are working together (VOP) on the development/improvement and verification/validation of morphological models within the framework K2005* Coastal Nourishment of Rijkswaterstaat. The present study (within the VOP-programme) is focussed on the following subjects: 1. improvement and application of the engineering sand transport formulations; 2. improvement of DELFT3D-ONLINE model with recently developed formulations; 3. detailed application of the DELFT3D-ONLINE model to existing nourishment cases (Egmond, Delfland).
