Long-term morphology of the Eastern Scheldt
Thesis focussed on the effects of the closure of the Eastern Scheldt, during 1972-1986. An analysis of morphological and hydrodynamic parameters have been carried out to see if the Eastern Scheldt system had reached morphological stability after the closure works. The development of the following morpholigcal and hydrodynamic parameters has been evaluated and compared. Discharge data and bathymetric soundings between 1960 and 1996 have been used for a reconstruction of the evolution of the parameters.
