Multipurpose underwater inspection system

Details are presented of a multipurpose underwater inspection system, called R.O.H.P. (Remotely Operated Hoisted Platform), developed by Rijkswaterstaat, North Sea Directorate and Seatech Underwater Systems in the Netherlands. The system is specially designed for the Southern North Sea and other areas with severe underwater conditions, namely high current velocities and bad visibility, and operates from the survey vessel mv Mitra.
