Pavement performance under LINTRACK accelerated loading : measurement report section Va

Presents the measurement results of the pavement performance test on LINTRACK (Linear Tracking Apparatus) test lane Va, consisting of 8 cm gravel asphalt concrete (GAC) on a sand subgrade, which was loaded with approximately 650,000 repetitions of a 75 kN super single wheel load. The vertical stresses at five positions in the subgrade, the horizontal strains at ten positions at the bottom of the GAC layer, and the temperatures at six positions in the test pavement were measured regularly during the accelerated loading. Furthermore, additional measurements were performed, such as falling weight deflectometer (FWD) measurements, transverse profile measurements, visual condition surveys and crack pattern registrations. Also, climatic data were collected.
