Gives a summary of current thought in the Netherlands of the following subjects: Research methods and results relevant to the Dutch coast; The applications of these results in a policy analysis for coastal protection methods; Experience and expectations arising from recent and future protection techniques strategies. The emphasis in this collection is on research into the factors and processes which determine the evolution of the Dutch coast. This research is part of the Coastal Genesis project (Project Kustgenese)
