Annexes to the first interim report

In the future the number of cities and agglomerations that fall victim to disurbanisation processes will grow considerably. Whether that prediction will come true depends largely on future socio- economic conditions. In the next section we make some basic assumptions in this respect, on the basis of which is tried and investigated the nature of future urban development in Europe. Special care will be taken to trace the major societal problems associated with the predicted urban developments.
