Concentration measurements under oscillatory water motion : report on model investigation
Investigated is the interaction of an oscillatory water motion over a movable bed. Much attention is paid to the various features of optical concentration measurements. The variation of the concentration in time is discussed. The time-averaged values of the concentration exhibit large relative variations, which seem to be caused by the instability of the bed geometry. The experiments are executed the DHL wave tunnel.
