Gives a picture of how tunnels are built in the Netherlands and what the associated specific problems are. Examples of constructed tunnels and tunnels still in building have been given such as the Drechttunnel, the Kiltunnel, the Gouwe Aquaduct, the Hemspoortunnel, the Schipholtunnel and the Utrechtse Baan.
