A study of attitudes towards energy saving in the use of private cars
Analyzes the psychological assessment of the acceptability of different government measures to achieve energy savings with private cars and the reasons why measures are accepted or rejected. The report also describes the expected effects of different measures on patterns of car usage (adjustment in behaviour or evasion). The effects are described in the light of the attitudes of motorists towards the use of their car, its energy consumption, and the possibility of energy saving in the use of their car.
