Oil-water separator in a barge. - Part 1
The aim of this study was to investigate the feasibility of creating an oil-water separator consisting of several converted storage tanks in a sea-going barge. The following topics are considered: specifications of the separator in the barge; oil-water separation on board a barge; calculation of the separator; design of the separator.
